Questions and Complaints
If you present questions or grievances to a designated hospital staff member you are entitled to receive a response in a reasonable period of time.
If you have concerns about patient care or safety in the hospital that are not resolved, you are encouraged to contact the hospital’s administration.
If the concern remains unresolved you may contact The Joint Commission office of Quality Monitoring by calling 1-800-994-6610 or e-mailing complaint@jointcommission.org. Palisades Medical Center must also provide you with the address and telephone number of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services agency that handles questions and complaints. You may directly contact the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Complaint Hotline at 1 (800) 792-9770.
