Walgreens In North Bergen To Host Blood Drive And Free Diabetes Tests On January 29
Walgreens Pharmacy at 7401 River Road in North Bergen will be hosting a blood drive in its parking lot on January 29 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The event is made possible thanks to Walgreens' partnerships with the American Red Cross and HackensackUMC Palisades.
The American Red Cross will have a blood donor bus on site. Blood Drive appointments are preferred. All blood donors will receive $5 Dunkin' Donuts gift cards. Please sign up by calling Richard Kim at (201) 662-6280.
Medical professionals from HackensackUMC Palisades will also be in attendance to conduct free Diabetes Testing (HgA1c) and Pulse Oximetry Screenings (percent of oxygen in the blood).
