Speech Language Pathology
At HackensackUMC Palisades, we offer diagnostic and therapeutic services in Speech Language Pathology to meet the needs of children and adults. Our services are provided by a team of professionals who focus on the medical, therapeutic and educational needs of our patients and their families. HackensackUMC Palisades' rehabilitative program includes both inpatient services offered to patients in the hospital, as well as outpatient care available at the physical medicine department.
Our Team of Specialists
Our speech therapists have extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adults and children who may exhibit difficulties with language, sensory, motor, social, feeding and developmental skills. In addition, we have bilingual (Spanish/English) therapists to address different language needs.
Our growing team of SLPs has the pleasure of serving a diverse community of patients requiring support in various areas, including:

- Craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate

After a comprehensive evaluation, a treatment plan is developed and we provide an interdisciplinary approach to promote maximum functional development for our patients.
