Joan Venino was a loyal volunteer, auxiliary member and good friend of Palisades for more than thirty years. When Joan joined us in 1979, no one could have ever imagined what an impact she'd have, literally becoming the face of Palisades for thousands of patients and visitors while working in the Gift Shop. Joan always made sure she greeted customers with a smile and kind words.
In addition to her work in the Gift Shop, Joan served as a key member of our Auxiliary. No matter what project or activity she was involved in, Joan was known as the person who got things done, and done right. Joan will always be remembered for her caring heart, elegance, and true passion for helping others. To honor her life and dedication to Palisades Medical Center, our Gift Shop was officially renamed in her honor in 2009.
The Venino family has a strong tradition of supporting Palisades and our entire community. We are extremely grateful for their continued support.
Flowers, gifts for patients, gifts for mom and baby, balloons, greeting cards, snacks and seasonal items, health and beauty aids, and lottery games are all available in the Joan M. Venino Gift Shop at Palisades Medical Center. All proceeds are used to support the programs and services of the hospital.
We also offer New Jersey Lottery Instant Games. You could be an instant winner. Scratch-off games also make a great gift.
