Palisades Medical Center is a Member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System.
The NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System is a working affiliation of top-quality hospitals, specialty institutes, and continuing care centers throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. It was founded to bring about a positive change in the way healthcare is delivered to communities. All System members are also academic affiliates of two Ivy League medical institutions:

What Our Membership Means to You
The requirements of modern medicine are more challenging than ever. As medicine evolves, so does the need to share and use new knowledge. Every hospital within the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System is constantly looking for ways to improve every aspect of patient care. We collaborate so that we can capitalize on the strength our combined resources.
Our membership means we have access to the research capacity and academic infrastructure of two Ivy League medical schools: Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medical College, which brings together the collective energy and dedication of approximately 13,000 physicians from 34 medical institutions. This kind of teamwork improves the knowledge base within all of New York-Presbyterian’s member institutions, with the goal of providing every patient the best possible treatment.

Palisades Medical Center is also affiliated with many other medical education organizations. This access provides caregivers with the latest and best in continuing education resources and helps us ensure our patients receive the best possible care.

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH) and the other Member Institutions of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System (the System Member institutions) are each operated by a separate not-for-profit corporation. Neither NYPH nor NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System, Inc. employs or supervises the medical staff of the System Member institutions, is licensed to provide medical care to patients at any System Member institution or operates any System Member institution.
